Professor Pilar Montaner, newly elected to this position, today took possession of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, a position that replaces José Daniel Buendía, who has headed the center in recent years.

Also in this event, which was chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, took over as vice-deans María del Carmen Puig, María Gloria Soto, Pedro Juan Martín, Isabel Parra and Juan Francisco Martín, Juan Ortín while he did as secretary.

Montaner said a few words of gratitude to his colleagues for the confidence placed in it and referred to the demands arising from the convergence process, which implies an increase in the activity to be conducted in schools.

For its part, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, the Dean thanked outgoing management and congratulated his successor, while stressing that the Faculty of Economics and Business is one of the largest university by student numbers.
