More closer, more efficient (05/06/2009)

The Department of Safety and Traffic, directed by Nuria Fuentes, launches a new channel of communication between the residents of Murcia and the local police, so that all their complaints, suggestions or requests may be addressed in writing to the agents by Mailbox installed on all municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts.

A total of 67 boxes (59 in 8 districts and neighborhoods) will be installed at local authority in each district and parish, so that each resident who needs it can to get their suggestions.

Local police, meanwhile, agrees to give reply within 10 days.

Following the launch of the figure of the Borough Police, the Police Tutor, GESC service (Public Safety Panel), Office of Citizen Phones (OAC) and subsequently the Foreign Service and the Citizen (SARC), as well as campaigns to protect trade, increased staffing, expanded headquarters-seven parishes and two under construction and another two in the city, "among others, the council remains committed to establish new channels of communication simple and effective for neighbors to voice their concerns about public safety.

All these suggestions and demands of citizens will be treated by the local police, moving them to appropriate agencies when they are within their competence.

The implementation of this mailbox police attention is essentially two objectives:

1 .- Continue bringing the Local Police Corps of Murcia our citizens, in a continuous process spanning several years and many aspects that are making the Murcia sit at the local police as their police. "

2 .- best meet the expectations that local competition in those areas, people place in their local police

In all offices will install a vertical-mail system with independent support in drafting the forms, once completed, should be placed inside the mailbox.

Local police will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the service, to verify the existence of equipment for use and remove the letters deposited in the mailbox.

All persons using this new system will be contacted by the local police, to demonstrate the measures or actions are deemed necessary.

Remember that the Mobile Office of Citizen (OAC)

service also provides fully furnished two vehicles as a mobile office capable of carrying any area of the municipality police service for citizen.

This project is part of the decentralization policy of the current government, in order to facilitate relations between the neighbors and municipal services, in this case referred to the local police, making it more flexible and everyday relationships.

These Mobile Offices moving to districts and neighborhoods in the city on weekdays, a vehicle in each zone, Monday through Friday, between 09:00 and 21:00 hours, visiting 10-12 sites each day, according with a detailed monthly schedule.

Generally remain in each of them about 1 hour and 30 minutes, taking the audience into the car-office.

To achieve the objectives Mobile Service Office is located in places of maximum turnout of people, places or places like downtown or emblematic.

During 2009 include the following activities of the OAC:

As for the Service and relations with citizens (SARC), was launched as a result of public demand for action by the local police in different kinds of problems affecting the daily living of the community, trying to channel complaints, suggestions and any issues raised by the neighbors, or referrals to other government services, as appropriate.

This service is via a telephone communication system open to all citizens, and also with system of written information, face and telematics, coordinating all complaints and suggestions received from citizens.

Custom-serving citizens and contact with the community of neighbors.

To quote a brief summary of the activities developed by the SARC in 2009:
