The photo exhibition "Chinguetti, which can be viewed at the Library of the University of Murcia, Espinardo Campus, offering the social reality of Mauritania, has been extended until September.
The exhibition, designed by Mar Saez, a graduate in Communication Studies and Psychology, presents a look social, artistic and intimate in this town, where more than half the population lives below the poverty line.
It is, according to the author, a documentary approach with which the audience can reflect on the importance of solidarity and humanitarian support to the Third World.
The exhibition features the portrait of one of the most beautiful villages of Mauritanian territory, located in the Sahara and enjoys spectacular dunes, for which he was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996.
