The UCAM participate with the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic, University Entrepreneur Competition EOI, the Region of Murcia, organized by the Business School of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce under the patronage of the Savings Mediterranean.
The presentation of the event held this morning at the Cultural Hall of the CAM, was given by the Minister of Universities, Research Enterprise and CARM, Salvador Marín, project director of EOI, Joaquín Martínez-Campillo and Territorial President CAM, Angel Martinez.
Also attended by the rector of the UCAM, Josefina García Lozano and rectors of the Universities of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho and Politécnica de Cartagena, Felix Faure as well as representatives of the CROEM and the College of Economists of Murcia, which participate in this initiative .
The EOI project manager, Joaquín Martínez-Campillo, held after a briefing with the students in the UCAM, focusing on the transmission of the bases and objectives of the competition.
Martínez-Campillo explained that this initiative, aimed at college junior or senior year students, postgraduate students and graduates, but not exceeding two academic years since graduation until the conclusion of the contest, founded with the aim of rewarding more viable business idea, creative and innovative, especially those capable of generating employment initiatives.
The project will be rewarded with a prize of 6,000 euros, provided by the CAM, EOI Scholarships School of Business, and a free one-year stay in one of the European Business and Innovation of Murcia and Cartagena (CEEIM and CEEIC).
The director of the TTO, Luis Tejada, encouraged students to participate in this contest to promote the university entrepreneurship.
"From the UCAM want to show our support for all students who choose to submit their draft business," he said.
