The Young Art Lab tomorrow hosts a meeting of performance and representation of shadow play (04/06/2009)

Youth Art Laboratory (LAB), under the Youth Institute of the Region of Murcia, welcomes tomorrow from 20:30 pm 'Performer expired', a performance artist Domingo Garrido, which raises concerns about of the ephemeral nature of existence, reviewing its own programs of the Baroque era in terms of representations of death.

After this performance, the company 'Nébol theater' represent the work 'Shadows of the mind. "

In its creation, Garrido a critique of the abolition of the transcendent image of death in the contemporary world.

For this, the artist uses symbolism present in traditional representations, such as a skull, ash and soil.

Sunday Garrido performer and artist, trained in the specialty of interpretation by the School of Dramatic Art Murcia.

Participates in meetings most prominent in the field of performance in Spain and has made critical interventions social front of the Museum of Contemporary Art Reina Sofia (Hunger, 2008), the Documentation Centre Cendeac (Very Fragile, Polaroid Instant Poems, 2007 ) or the Centre for Contemporary Culture October Valencia (Autopsy Emotional, 2009).

At 21:30 hours will be held form 'Shadows of the Mind' by 'Nébol theater', a company that ends well resident in the Lab, where they spent three months of research.

The result is an experimental work where light and shadow make up an environment between surrealism and dream experience, where the text is replaced by the presence of light fiction.

These activities are framed in the programming of LAB and put an end to the exhibition project 'Kunsthall' that has developed in the center.
