The Department of Youth and Employment, headed María Dolores Sánchez, goes a step further to generate jobs with the signing of a cooperation agreement with the multinational Ikea.
The objective of this initiative is to promote economic activity and employment in the municipality of Murcia, as well as the employment of the unemployed.
It is launching a series of measures to promote and develop viable new business ventures, generating wealth and employment to activate the local economy.
The Employment Service of the Municipality of Murcia Ikea made available to the user database unemployed potential applications for employment of the company.
In addition, the Employment Service will participate with municipal Human Resources section on the Ikea recruitment in areas such as technical sessions, interviews, job search, values, self esteem, attitude formation, etc.
The City Council is committed to train student workers on specific aspects of interest for Ikea, likewise, be put in place specific training actions in those professional specialties in most demand are detected.
The Town Hall facilities will transfer to Ikea (Center of Training and Employment Initiatives Fica Murcia, Central Training and Employment Initiatives El Palmar, Local Development Agency Resource Center Employment Stables) to make Ikea training, recruitment, etc.
Ikea is committed to promoting training and retraining of workers, to participate in the development of the Municipal Employment Program and provide at its facilities in Murcia practice for students of the centers under the Municipal Employment Service, in specialties such as restaurant, kitchen, maintenance, furniture assembler, depending ...).
At the same time, Ikea will promote the employment of users of the Employment Service of the City and work with the Department of Employment in the recruitment of professional profiles that develop in Ikea.
