29 public schools in the municipality of Murcia have asbestos in their roofs, as denounced by the PSOE (29/05/2009)

Note from PSOE:

Following the conclusion of the Extraordinary Commission for Social Affairs held today at the request of the PSOE, the Socialist Party has requested a detailed account of schools whose construction was used in this hazardous material, and found that there is no plan for replacing roofs of schools affected, but three of them to be withdrawn because there are leaks

The Municipal Socialist Group has found, after the conclusion of the Extraordinary Commission of Social Affairs had to claim that, in fact, twenty-nine public schools in the municipality of Murcia have asbestos, a highly polluting material in their covers.

Also, the Socialists have verified that there is no plan to replace the roofs of schools affected by asbestos, but three of them, whose covers are removed because there are leaks.

After checking in awe of these data, the Socialist Party has requested a detailed list of the 29 public schools whose construction was used in this hazardous material, as well as the three on which it is acting.

Satisfaction with the northern neighbors

Moreover, the PSOE has been found, thanks to his initiative, advance construction procedures emergency department primary care to meet the districts located in the northern municipality and prevent collapse and the neighbors Sewer having to move or Santomera.

"I suck my thumb"

Finally, regarding the information requested on overtime and the causes of the increase in more than 12% over 2009, despite the statements made by the municipal government of its intention to reduce drastically, the head of Personnel, Pilar Megía , literally responded with the following outburst: "Sure, and I suck my thumb and I give the data."

This response, totally out of place, has forced the PSOE to ask aldermen to place on record this action, in addition to reiterating the request for information regarding the overtime they had requested.
