Under the slogan 'sport in the light of complex systems' was opened this morning at the UCAM the II International Congress on Sport Sciences.
The event will take place in the Temple until the 29th of May.
The opening ceremony was involved, along with other faculty members associated with the symposium, the Dean of Science degree in Physical Education and Sport (CAFD), Antonio Sánchez Pato.
During the congress, many sports scholars will present research and discuss the Sports Science under a multidisciplinary lens.
In the opening ceremony of the II International Congress on Sport Sciences have spoken the Dean of CAFD, Antonio Sánchez Pato, the coordinator of the symposium, Germain Ruiz, the director of the department of CAFD, Helena Vila, and the prestigious University professor Castilla-La Mancha, Fernando Sánchez Bañuelos.
During his speech, Pato Antonio Sánchez, said that "the holding of this conference is another example of the commitment of the UCAM for training and research in the field of sport."
It is worth mentioning the papers this morning have spoken, among other researchers of sport, Professor of UCAM, Enrique del Toro, and Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Fernando Sánchez Bañuelos.
During the morning session also took place multiple oral presentations and panel discussions by experts from national and international level in the field of sports science.
This evening from 16.00 hours in the Temple the symposium will continue with new activities.
Preliminary program tomorrow May 28
Starting at 9.30 pm in the Temple of Los Jeronimos, begin the second day of the symposium.
In the morning session will be held several oral presentations, roundtables, and papers that address, among others, issues related to sport and education.
