The UCAM opened the V National Congress of Science and Food Technology (26/05/2009)

In the opening ceremony involved the Deputy Mayor of Environment of the City of Murcia, Adela Martinez Cacho, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Joaquin Guerrero, the vice-dean of the Bachelor of Science and Food Technology, Estrella Núñez, the coordinator Results Transfer Office (TTO) and representative of the Strategic Plan for Communication at the University of Murcia, Fernando Martin, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Murcia, Antonio Rouco and Managing Director of the Fundación Seneca, Antonio Valverde .

The Vice Dean of Food Technology, Estrella Núñez praised welcoming the holding of this conference.

"I hope that this symposium is attractive, innovative and above all desire to shine for their scientific quality," he said.

For its part, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning at the Catholic University, Joaquin Guerrero, stressed the importance of this scientific meeting, jointly developed with the University of Murcia.
