85% of graduates from the University of Murcia in the year 2004/05 is now working as a labor market study conducted jointly by the Quality Unit and the Employment Observatory COIE of the educational institution.
Of this percentage, 68% found work after completing their studies and 24% already had it before finishing.
Among those who have not worked yet, in most cases has been to continue studying.

The delegate of the Rector for Quality, Antonio López Cabanes, said the study not only analyzed the employment status of graduates, but also measures the degree of their satisfaction.
In this sense, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the level of responsibility in employment (89%), with the adequacy of the profile of their qualifications to the job characteristics (74%), with the salary (61 %) and promotion opportunities (60%).
Retention rates are also favorable for the University of Murcia, and that 89% would study at the institution of Murcia and 66% would attend again the same studies.
