The University Senate will host Curro Piñana Quintet, in which the singer, accompanied by his brother Carlos Piñana and Francisco González Tornero with their guitars, singing and percussion and cello Francis Light Pinar Dew, shall voice to poems of Ibn Gabirol, considered the great poet of the Sephardic tradition.

The performance, called 'The soul hurt and Other Poems', will also contain a selection of medieval romance, a poem now and new songs.

The poems include both romances connected with love, games or social life of the time as others that refer to Moses and religious rites of the Jewish community.

The selection of these texts has been made by Antonio Parra, with the collaboration of María Martínez, a professor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia, in the historical record, "has also written a poem for the occasion.

With this production of the Festival ends the trilogy adaptation of texts of the Three Cultures to flamenco that began with the presentation in Murcia and the Festival of Sacred Music of Fez in the Misa Flamenca Murcia, where the brothers and the quintet Piñana Fingerboard made a tour of melodic and rhythmic texts from the liturgy, poetry recitals and medieval Christians from the time of Alfonso X, and continued in 2005 as part of the sixth edition of the Festival, which offered the recital Piñana Curro 'De human and divine ', with poems by Ibn Al-Arabi, who also was later presented in Fez.
