Six short films by young directors Israelis opened on Monday the film series Three Cultures in Castilla doors (19/05/2009)

In this new edition of the festival Murcia Three Cultures, held in the city during the month of May, Castilla doors for the sixth time participating in the section devoted to film and still showing films in line with the evolution of the festival, is improving the quality and quantity of its contents.

To give a coherent view of different cultures, the film shows focused on short films by young directors from different countries, with the collaboration of the Embassy of Israel.

Young directors are Israelis today, the players in what will be the first day of the Three Cultures film series with screenings of several short films and comedy "Sliding Flora," the dramas "The substitute" and "Sea Horses" and the documentary "grooves."

Among the films to be screened include two animation: "Half Baked" by Nadam Pines, who narrates in less than two minutes as a leader and join a waiter to change the dismal future of his ducks in the oven, and "Super Grupper, Jonathan Grupper, Andrey Smirnov and Itay Cohen, whose protagonist is a boy who did not listen when his mother was.

Next to them, the documentary "Furrows", Green Kurlender, a story set in Madrid seven years ago on a Hungarian Jewish survivor of World War II and his memory in her granddaughter.

A work that pays tribute to four generations of Jewish women in Spain.

The comedy "Sliding Flora" by Talya Lavie presents a waitress who takes unusual skills and when things go wrong it has no other use to avoid losing his job, while in "The substitute", it tells of a filmmaker clerk at a military base that what you want is to be replaced.

Another of the tragedies that can be seen are, "Sea Horses" by Nir Bergman, who was 17 minutes and sufficient means to realize the life of a 10 year old boy who lives in Haifa with a teenage sister and another child during the trial period of separation from their parents.

All screenings will be at 21 am in the auditorium of the center and entry is free until all seats.
