The Socialists ask the PP to restart the process to build the doctor's office in Old Javalí (18/05/2009)

Councilman Sebastian Peñaranda submit this request in a motion in Parliament on Thursday, in order to offer residents a health service primary care conditions, from where they are closely and meets quality

Note from PSOE:

Old Javalí neighbors have expressed on numerous occasions the need to have in his parish of a health service primary care conditions, by building a medical office, where they attend closely and in good quality.

According to Sebastian Peñaranda PSOE mayor of the village of Old Javalí does not deserve a city government that misled, having raised expectations and have made constant promises about building a medical office.

Notorious failures

Also, remember Peñaranda, first in the 2006 election program contained the PP project already in the doctor's office building in this hamlet, later the CARM granted the City a grant of almost 100,000 euros for the same, what the consistory replied requesting an extension and, recently, the PP in La Glorieta has stated that it will build.

"It is unacceptable that the PB miss the regional government subsidy for the construction of this much-needed medical center in Old Javalí, after having promised with great fanfare."

Also, highlights the socialist council can not believe it is left in the lurch to the neighbors, when the Municipal Board itself, PSOE and PP unanimously approved the construction of the said office as a necessary response to problems in primary care suffer from this hamlet.

That House reconsider

"We are not interested in debate or controversy, but certainly there are enough elements to make a full-blown complaint," says Peña, who notes that "We are trying to retrain House to reconsider its position and promote construction of this medical center, fulfilling the promise to neighbors who are abandoned and hopeless. "

For the mayor of the PSOE, "the health system in primary care and emergency in the municipality of Murcia and water does the City Council should, in defense of citizens, take the necessary steps to whom it may concern in order to give solutions, and not play frivolously with election promises. "

Motion

For all this, Peñaranda defend a motion in Parliament on Thursday asking the municipal government to undertake to build, as a matter of urgency, a doctor in the village of Old Javalí and collect the necessary resources and commitment of regional government .

"The expectations and demands of residents affected by the lack of a clinic in Javalí Viiejo, who have staged several protests, have not been covered either by the city of Murcia and, in particular, by its mayor," says the socialist mayor .

"The goal of this Consistory not be other than to promote a health and health service near neighbors, and their responsibility is to ensure that the primary health care rights are exercised without any distinction", he concludes.
