The UCAM closed yesterday at City Moneo, the V Edition of the International Forum on Digital Terrestrial Television.
The symposium, set in the 2009 SICARM addressed through individual conferences and panel discussions by experts on DTT, issues related to the transition to new digital television format and the new technological challenges associated with adoption of this new system, as Interactive Digital Television or High Definition.
The paths Matchday included lectures by the Director of Telecommunications Engineering, Rafael Melendreras, and Audiovisual Communication associate dean of UCAM, Isabel Sarabia, respectively entitled 'The TDT: A new technology for the consumer' and `The citizen Murcia to the TDT. "
Then, experts and heads of agencies involved in the process of introducing the new television format, as the Director General of Telecommunications and Information Society of the CARM, Diego Pedro García, President of the Association of Property Administrators in Murcia, Felipe López, President of the Association of Telecommunications Engineers of the region, José Sebastián Velázquez, and the president of the Regional Association of telecommunication facilities, Jose Francisco Velasco, discussed the role of different actors involved in the adaptation process households to digital television environment.
The symposium was closed by the Minister of Presidency and Public Administrations of the Autonomous Region, María Pedro Reverte.
