The Department of Tourism of the City of Murcia, María Isabel Valcárcel directing, has organized this weekend an activity that combines hiking and history.
This is a tour of El Valle for the history of the city of Murcia and its environment.
The route crosses the path of birds and about the participants to the hermitage of San Antonio the Poor, a place used in the Middle Ages by the hermits to devote themselves to prayer in nature.
The trail ascends a small waterfall to the Arab castle of La Luz, where an expert will explain the history of the founding of Murcia.
The next stop on the road is the Iberian Sanctuary of Light.
This cultural tour is organized by the Hall of Mountain Visitors Center of Light.
The route will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16.
A bus picks up participants at the roundabout at 10 hours.

Participants should bring a small bag with nuts, water, snack, footwear and comfortable clothes for walking mountain trails, as well as sunglasses and a hat.
