The city of Murcia will host the tenth stage of the Tour of Spain, as approved by the Board of Governors today.
The test will be held on 8 September.
The stage is Alicante-Murcia and has a length of 162 kilometers.
The riders will reach the city by road Santomera New Condomina go through the complex and from there will proceed to the rooster, go down and be routed to the avenue Miguel Indurain, the height of the Palacio de Deportes, which will be installed goal.
Brokers are expected to reach goal of 17 hours.
The next day, September 9, will celebrate the XI stage, Murcia-Caravaca with 191 miles.
The race will start around 11 hours in the Avenida Miguel Indurain, the height of the Palacio de los Deportes, to El Palmar, the Green Sangonera Espuña.
The area of Avenida Miguel Indurain - Sports Palace will be closed on 8 and 9 September because the organization will install there the goal, which will occupy 500 square meters, the output space of 12,000 square meters and the exhibition park of La Vuelta Cyclist with 10,000 square meters.
The City Council has given all the facilities of the Sports Palace (rooms, press room, locker rooms, parking ...) and around the organization of the Tour.
In that area will be installed in trucks of different teams competing.
The helicopter involved in the race will be stored overnight in the sports Joseph Barnes.
