The Museum of the City marks a decade on 18 May, International Museum Day.
To celebrate, the Department of Culture has organized a full program of activities with concerts, exhibitions, recitals, and seminars to be held until later this year.
In this decade have visited the museum a total of 367,992 people, showing in 2009 a remarkable increase in the trend of visits.
During these years we have hosted 180 activities between concerts, seminars, concerts and conferences, 80 publications, 62 activities for 'Today we teach', 55 exhibits and 27 workshops.
We take a tour of the ten years of the Museum from Friday May 15th through the exhibition 'tenth anniversary.

The City Museum was born on May 18, 1999 with a clear didactic and dissemination and promotion of the history of Murcia.
In his inauguration had 1,637 parts, but over the years the collection has been expanded through acquisitions and donations of works archaeological, artistic and historical, and at present to 2,049 pieces.
