The historical collection of the Library of the University of Murcia has from today on a new facility in which all measures have been tightened for improved conservation of funds that, in many cases, have several centuries of history.
During the opening ceremony, which was chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, highlighted the importance of these volumes and the effort made by this institution for preservation and accessibility by researchers.
The event also speaking director of the University Library, Lourdes Cobacho, and counted equally with the presence of the Director General of Universities, Eduardo Osuna, and general director of the Book, Francisco Giménez.
The University was also represented by the Vice Chancellor for Research, Juan María Vázquez.
