The project has proposed three possible designs of the cars, but this does not mean that you can select another.

These trams will have to go without catenary by the half-mile stretch that runs between the stop on Avenida Juan Carlos I closest to the Plaza Circular and stopping Fleet Avenue.

As for the platforms, there are two types: the lateral and central.

Both will be 40 meters long and have two access ramps of five meters.

The height above the platform is 35 cm and the canopy covering a distance of 16 meters.

Four viaducts

The construction of the tram line 1 includes the creation of four new viaducts and a step higher.

The first was constructed in the section one (one that goes to the University of Murcia) to cross over the highway A-7 and will be 120 meters long and 12.6 meters wide.

Two others were created in the section 2 to New Condomina, the first on the precipice of Churra (51 meters long and 12.6 meters wide) and the second to pass on the highway A-7 (from 176 meters long and 8.4 meters wide).

The overpass will be located fifty feet and then the previous structure and its very anchura.Las tram works also involve the construction of workshop and garage on a plot of about 25,000 square meters and will be located in the Northern Zone in the section that goes to New Condomina stadium.

Have the capacity to accommodate a total of fifteen trains but has provided sufficient space for future expansion to three new trains.

In the same building are located the offices of the Central Command Post.

The ship maintenance occupy an area of 8,387 meters square on the ground floor and 145 upstairs.

The service station will measure 300 square meters and 281 car washes.

The offices will occupy 640 square meters on the ground floor and 801 upstairs.

In addition, all along the line there will be fifteen track equipment that will facilitate the operation of the line and be able to handle possible failures thus minimizing the possible adverse effects and continue the normal operation of the line.

It was also placed seven electrical substations.

Another notable performances of the project is that the road is of a type which will reduce potential noise and vibration.

Moreover, in certain sections will be placed further anti-noise and vibration protection.
