The disabled express their creativity and drama from today until February 15 (06/05/2009)

The book 'Pirates', Cocoliso group, inaugurated this afternoon the Third Special Theatre Festival in Murcia, by the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, Teatro Bernal, in the parish capital city of El Palmar, which will be held until February 15.

This cultural initiative emerged in 2007 to show the general public and the creative efforts of people with intellectual disabilities and mental illness, through the staging of several other plays.

In 2007 involving 200 players from 14 groups, while in the next edition, in 2008, made a similar number of interpreters from 11 centers.

This year, performances, organized by the Centre for Care of Persons with Disabilities in El Palmar, will be at 11:00 hours.

After the opening session this afternoon, the program continues tomorrow on 7 with "The world, a place without borders", by the group La Luz, Astrapace Association of cold sores (Murcia).

The third book, scheduled for Friday, Day 8, is "our daily bread", The Theatre Workshop of the Psyche, downtown Quarries (Cartagena).

The program continues on Tuesday, 12 next week Cocoliso groups, El Palmar, which represent "Harvey and the Magic Tree" and The Tambaliche, Espinardo, with "You're you."

On Wednesday 13, The Comedy Company, Murcia, will perform "John is not afraid."

On Thursday 14, Alpha Association, Murcia, will stage "The feelings in the garden" and the advanced group, Caravaca, "Evolution."

On Friday 15, closing the book "A Life Story," by the band Primitive Lopez of Cartagena.

The Teatro Bernal, who heads Albero Elvira Pineda, is adapted to facilitate the work of actors, and that 40 percent of them are disabled.
