The Dean of Medicine at the University of Murcia speech in the Senate on health professional needs (06/05/2009)

The dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia, Joaquin Garcia-Tin, will speak today in the Senate at a hearing sponsored by the Commission of Health to study the needs of health professionals in Spain.

García-tin, which has been called in as chairman of the Conference of Deans of Faculties of Medicine, will report on these needs to the effect that the Government will undertake the necessary measures under the national health system.

The paper that the teacher will speak at the University of Murcia consider proposals aimed at restoring the balance between the number of trained professionals and the demand for them, according to the announcement made by the Senate García-Tin.
