Romantic Travelers to East is the subject of study of the work published by the editor of the University of Murcia (EDITUM) and was presented last night during a ceremony held at the Law School on the campus of Merced.
The work is the result of the doctoral thesis by the author, Nieves Soriano Nieto, who studied philosophy at the University of Murcia and is now Professor of Secondary Education.
The event took part, besides Soriano, Professor of History of Aesthetic Ideas Francisco Jaramillo University, author of the foreword.
Jaramillo said that the reading of the nineteenth century travel will allow us to place ourselves in variations ranging from the exotic to the observation and recognition of others in their different expressions. "
The event also took part Professor Vicente Cervera, EDITUM coordinator, José Antonio Gómez, and the rector, José Antonio Cobacho.
