Murciano Institute Director of Research and Agricultural Development and Food (IMID), Adrian Martinez, opens tomorrow in Murcia (at 09:00 pm in the headquarters of IMIDA, Calle Mayor, s / n, La Alberca), the first coordination meeting of the project to improve irrigation practices TELERIEG, part of the Territorial Cooperation Programme European Space Southwest (sudo), which will take place on 27 and 28 April.
During this first meeting will be presented and submitted for discussion the working approaches that make up the various targets in the project through various presentations and activities.
The participants, comprising research teams from different regions, and countries like France and Portugal, will use this room to know the Region of Murcia, the main crops on which work under the project (vines and citrus ) and the integrated use of water in the Community.
To do this, visit the areas of Bullas and Jumilla Campo de Cartagena, where he will test the best use of water and infrastructures available to Murcia for its efficient use.
According to the director of IMIDA, Adrian Martinez, "is the first meeting to be made within the project and used to mark the milestones of work and mode of development of the objectives mentioned therein."
