"Open a book, opens the world!"

is the theme of this year by the College of Cabezo Nebrija Torres to support the Global Campaign for Education Action.

And like every year, the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has supported this initiative with their presence and participation in the XI Thon organized in conjunction with World Book Day.

Since yesterday afternoon and until 17.30 hours today, many people from the region will join the teachers and school students in public reading.

The marathon is dedicated this year to film and, as before, the school has joined the Global Campaign for Education, participating in the Global Action Week for Education to be held from 21 to 28 April with slogan "Open a book, opens the world".

The aim of this campaign is to implement the right of all people to receive a quality education that allows them to not only read and write, but to interpret the reality and influence it.

Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Deputy Mayor of Social Welfare, Pilar Megía, Deputy Mayor of Education, and Fatima Barnuevo in charge of Culture, have also joined this initiative.
