The practical aspects focus the V edition of the 'Course on expert evidence in the Spanish judicial system', which opened yesterday at the COITARM (21/04/2009)

The headquarters of the Association of Agricultural Engineers in the Region of Murcia (COITARM) was the venue chosen for the presentation of the fifth edition of 'Course on expert evidence in the Spanish judicial system: practical aspects', held yesterday afternoon.

This educational initiative, sponsored by the college institution, is aimed at those already practicing in the courts and to those who want to start practice in this field.

Despite being the fifth edition of this course, it is not devoid of news.

The first session was given by Professor of Civil Law at the University of Murcia (UMU), Fernando Crespo, while that of Procedural Law of the UMU and Secretary of the School of Legal Practice, July Sigüenza, elaborated on the requirements, duties and rights expert.

For its part, the afternoon session will include the intervention of the Head Judge of Criminal Court No. 2 in Murcia, Miguel Pascual de Riquelme, the Judge of the Section 2 of the Administrative Disputes Chamber of the High Court Justice of the Region of Murcia, Fernando Castillo Rigabert, and Judge of the Dean of the Board of Judges of Murcia and Judge of the Court of First Instance No. 6 of Murcia, José Moreno Hellin.

The course, organized by the company Malvariche, is intended for professionals of Agricultural Engineering are as well prepared as possible when acting as expert witnesses, acquiring the necessary skills to do both for judicial intervention, and for reporting or opinion.

In this regard, Guillén Luna, explained that "this course is characterized by being very practical, since it is aimed at technical report daily to court."

José Manuel García Izquierdo, lawyer of the College of Agricultural Engineers in the Region of Murcia and Julio Sigüenza López, Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Murcia are responsible for conducting these workshops, which addressed in depth tracks like " The intervention of experts in the courts of civil order, "" The expert fees and billing forms, "" The real and personal rights of the rural land "or" Review and comment on court proceedings relating to expert evidence, among others.
