With the intention of providing more and better pedestrian and vehicular safety, the City of Murcia will carry out the installation of a hundred or reducing speed humps on various streets in a total number of 22 districts of the municipality.

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has awarded the contract for installation, whose cost amounts to 232,983.22 euros.

The implementation of the cogs will take place in various streets, lanes and avenues of the hamlets of Algezares, El Palmar, Bacons Bridge, Beniaján, Casillas, Churra, Los Ramos, La Raya, San Ginés, San José de la Vega, Barriomar St. Pius X, James and Zaraiche, Zarandona, Barrio del Progreso, Santiago el Mayor, Patiño, Monteagudo, Boatmen, Espinardo, The Rane and the Raal.

The hundred speeders will be reconstituted as both rubber and installed at those points of neighborhoods and districts in which, for safety reasons, it was considered necessary to install.

In addition to the installation of speed bumps, will perform the installation and placement of vertical and horizontal signaling necessary.

The approximate period of execution of works shall be two months.
