The new education minister, Ángel Gabilondo, was recently on two occasions at the University of Murcia, one of them, to deliver the opening lecture of the course of the Faculty of Philosophy and the other to discuss the Bologna process.
Gabilondo, appointed to a cabinet that also assumes the responsibilities of universities, is Professor of Metaphysics and spoke on condition that "We, the singular, the plural and the ordinary" in the opening lecture of the course of the Faculty of Philosophy, held in late October.
Yet as chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), Gabilondo returned to Murcia, a month ago to discuss the convergence process in a debate sponsored by the Vice President and Student Council.
Ángel Gabilondo is from 2002 rector of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
