The PSOE Ballesta claims to avoid reducing hours for buses that cover several districts of Murcia (05/04/2009)

The head of the Socialist parliamentary group Transport, Teresa Rosique, claimed today the Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, to avoid reducing hours for districts of Murcia which has provided the company Latbus.

Rosillo stated that this claim makes sense "to the information published today on the reduction of hours in five bus routes that will affect about 5,000 users."

Moreover, the PSOE rejects this situation "when one of the pending of the municipality of Murcia is that there is a public transport service to ensure equal service to all citizens, live in the place they live, because you can not punish more to those who do so in districts. "

According to the parliamentary socialist, "the Directorate General for Transport can not sit idle, but must take action on the matter to carry out actions necessary to avoid the reduction of public service as important as this for thousands of citizens" .
