+ Tree Foundation presented in Murcia on Thursday (01/04/2009)

Be the first time meeting between the foundation, which promotes a new culture of tree planting 100 million trees in the Iberian Peninsula and all those interested in fighting for environmental protection and desertification and climate change in the Region Murcia.

On Thursday, at 20 hours, the Foundation + trees will be presented publicly in the city of Murcia, in a ceremony in which the University will act as host and intends to add accomplices and collaborators in the task of mobilizing society for the plantation massive trees. The University of Murcia will be the first institution in the area who will sign a cooperation agreement with the F + to carrying out advisory activities, research and training.

+ Trees Foundation develops actions to combat climate change by creating green and sustainable plantations, forests and care designed permaculture criteria.

In its first year and a half old, the nonprofit entity created under the impulse of agroforestry company Maderas Nobles de la Sierra de Segura, has been adding more and more partners, including Clickair, Bankinter, Volkswagen, AeroSur CCOO, Rock, Cadena 40 Principales, the municipalities of El Prat de Llobregat Cornella and groups such as Estopa, Revolver or Jarabedepalo.
