The Mayor visits the Mirasierra school built under the municipal development plan of schools (31/03/2009)

The new school Mirasierra, who today visited the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, is located in Torreagüera and part of the development plan for construction of educational facilities to reconcile work and family life with efforts to reconcile their professional obligations , family and training.

The center, which was built on a plot donated by the City in the dryland, has come into operation this year 2008-09 with 280 children and 13 classrooms for kindergarten and primary education.

Total Sucapacidad when in full development and also impart the teachings of ESO, will be 76 students and 32 classrooms.

Classrooms early risers

To ensure the reconciliation of work and family life center offers a full schedule, 7.30 hours to 19.30 hours and a wide range of services and activities, including dining room, games room (17 to 19.30 hours ), parent education, library, parenting courses, extracurricular activities and strengthening the school, among others.

Among the facilities available at the College Mirasierra is the sports area, computer rooms, drawing, music, technology, science and reinforcement, assembly hall, park, library and kitchen.

At present, the school has 18 direct employees, but when fully operational will generate up to 50 jobs.

The result of this plan to encourage creation of nurseries to ensure the reconciliation of work and family driven from the City, there are now in operation or under construction seventeen centers care for children in neighborhoods and villages.

This fulfills one of the objectives of the government team, reconciling work and family life and expanding the network of schools with initiatives to reconcile their occupational, family and training.

In this field are the generation of land required to build centers for children 0 to 3 years.

The program has led to the development of viable projects, while fulfilling its social function, also serve as generators of employment.
