The University of Murcia has offered a tribute to Professor José Luis Sotillo, who was dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, with the unveiling of the plaque which gives its name to one of the classrooms in the center.
The tribute was received by the professor's wife, Maria del Carmen Mesanza, and also a teacher and son John Sotillo, unable to attend the event his father because of health problems.
In the event the Dean of the Center intervened, Antonio Rouco, who emphasized the human and professional qualities of José Luis Sotillo and his dedication to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in its teaching and research aspects.
For its part, the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, emphasized the contribution of Sotillo in the consolidation of the Faculty and to make this a national benchmark.
