The largest of La Alberca have completely rejuvenated facilities which hold their activities and participate in workshops and training courses.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Social Welfare and Promotion of Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, President of the Municipal Board, Alfonso Pardo, and several councilors of the Corporation, this morning visited the center, once the improvement works.

The reform has involved the replacement of the original building's pitched roof and change the distribution and dependencies, so extending the area under the living room.

The improvement has also affected the cafeteria, kitchen and toilets, as well as modify the space for the entire center is handicap accessible.

The renovation has required an investment of 239,000 euros.

The effort by the City Council to expand this community center was designed to provide residents of La Alberca modern facilities, comprehensive and useful to promote the partnership and promote their overall development by organizing courses, workshops and training offers of various kinds.

The largest association was established in 1984 and currently has 791 members, chaired by Manuel Murcia.

Among the activities carried out highlights the theater group, large hearth, courses in ballroom dancing, gerontogimnasia workshops, tours, lectures and cultural interest.
