Dismissed as "irresponsible" attitude of the team of local government

Councillor of the United Left Greens + municipality of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, showed today their opposition to the removal of trees in the garden of St. Stephen to carry out archaeological tastings permit prior to the general direction of Heritage.

Herguedas indicated that trees in this environment, which will soon begin to withdraw, "must be protected and remain in the area until it is ultimately the completion of the work, since they lack certain formalities, such as approval by the College of Architects."

Branded as "irresponsible" attitude of the government team in the town to the increase in spending for the construction of that park, and criticized that this amount was not included in the initial project budget even when various groups of citizens and experts had expressed the need for archaeological tastings.

"Now that you have to pay increased with the rising cost of parking," said the mayor of IU + Greens.

Herguedas also felt that the project goes against the public mobility, "and recalled that about 120,000 heavy goods vehicles transiting through the center of the city during the works" without the traffic service has been provided for where they will circulate. "

"IU + Greens oppose the park is built, and which also bring negative consequences for commerce, like the Liberty Avenue," he said.
