The Socialist Party denounced the painful image of the archaeological remains and environment of Torres Cabezo castle, filled with garbage and debris (24/03/2009)

Rubble and garbage are the archaeological remains of the castle Cabezo de Torres.

An image is hard to describe, of course painful, denouncing the mayor of the PSOE José Antonio García Baños.

"One fails to understand," she continues as an absolute neglect of approximately 5,000 m2, for Garcia Baños, is not only a gross irresponsibility on the part of municipal government that keeps dirty green areas and abandoned archeological remains dating from the twelfth century and that certainly deserve more respect.

It is time to correct "says the mayor of the PSOE, the abandonment by the City of Murcia property located in Cabezo de Torres, enabling access, with a very clean throughout the environment, a proper planting of conifers and respecting the natural vegetation place.

"This will dignify the archaeological park of the castle of Cabezo de Torres", defends Garcia Baños, who also requires the PP in La Glorieta developing a study and action on the ruins of the castle to preserve the archaeological remains

To this end, the mayor asked the PP PSOE in Parliament that the council intends to make the Environment to rehabilitate the area.
