The days move and ever closer the date of the election of the new Queens of the largest and child Huerta will take place on Saturday.
Before that time, the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden continues to fulfill its traditional calendar of events that, today, has been the celebration of the day living in the headquarters of the Federation itself.
One day, above all, involves the dismissal of the Mayor and Child Queen 2008.
As happens every year, the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, wanted to be present at a rally full of activities.
Since the award of the various sports competitions organized by the rocks, to performances of folk groups and, of course, meaning a farewell tribute to those who have been Queen of the largest and child Huerta 2008-Molina and Marta Cano Maria Contreras, respectively, about to end its mandate.
The Mayor has delivered flowers to the ladies of the queens of 2008, which also received a traditional treasury Murcia.
For their part, both girls have given their gifts to the Mayor, consisting of a ceramic supply of rocks, "Councilman Festivals and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, and the President of the Federation of Peñas Huertanica Antonio Avilés, plus to their respective ladies.
They have also given a framed picture of each to the Federation.
The event concluded with the touching and heartfelt speech delivered by the Ladies of Honor, Marta Cano and Maria Contreras.
In addition to the Mayor and Rafael Gomez, have come to the site of the rock huerta José Arce, Christopher Smith and Adela Martinez-cache.
In less than a week will have new queens Murcia de la Huerta, who will star in the act of coronation on 11 April.
The three candidates elected will of the major candidates made up 26 and 33 children.
