Two new projects to be developed in the Murcia area south of town, providing residents of 30 parishes the opportunity to improve their quality of life from the Center for Social Services and Community Action "Murcia South."
The first focuses on the work that volunteers play in the area since 2000, when it was put in the Volunteer Office to promote solidarity.
From this office, attending to the project approved today Local Government, will be addressed needs for support groups, associations and nonprofit institutions to improve the social situation of the districts of its scope.
The groups that are supported Elderly, Disabled, Women, Families, Children and Adolescents, immigrants and drug addicts.
Volunteers assist in this project made following the process and collaboration in the administration of state aid received by persons served; in therapeutic activities, in the administration of medication and helps minors, and correspondence or reading books and taking steps of various kinds.
The work of the Office of Volunteers will have a municipal contribution of 33,500 euros.
Moreover, in the same South Central Murcia will develop a draft curricular activities to promote the sport and the promotion of healthy lifestyles among children 10 to 15 years.
The project, invested 26,500 euros, includes workshop table soccer and football in Los Rosales, sports tournaments and two after-school workshops and Sucina Aljucer insertion.
The years have been running sports workshops and held to further promote teamwork, good social skills and healthy lifestyles.
As for the other two, come before the need for resources for children and the surge of immigrants and are intended for children to interact in a different context to the school while fostering respect, creativity and harmony.
