The City Council extended the road connection between the dry and Sangonera Sangonera la Verde to improve traffic in the area (13/03/2009)

Murcia City Council extend the road link between the dry and Sangonera Sangonera the Green for more fluid traffic in the area.

These works will improve access to these districts, complementing the highway El Palmar-Sewell.

The Governing Board today approved the provisional allotment of the work on this project to the joint venture formed by Land and Buildings Infrastructure Urdecon, SA

The new road is located between the northern Sangonera la Verde, the road MU-30 and the Southwest Sewer and military airfield.

The road has two lanes in each direction (3.5 meters each), central median (2.5 meters), left shoulder (0.5 meters), parking online at the right margin (2.5 meters), curbside streetlights (1 meter), bike lanes (2 meters) and steel (2.5 meters).

The road from a roundabout, where it connects with the ring Sangonera, and ends at the old N-340 (west boundary of the town of Sewell), crossing the bed of a bridge Reguerón.

The total length of 3.5 kilometers.

The bridge will cross the Reguerón consisting of two steel trusses, has a width of 37 meters and stands 5 meters above the bed of Reguerón.

The bridge has two lanes, shoulder external and internal, central reservation and side sidewalks with bike lanes.

The bridge is firmly concreted slab on a corrugated sheet metal formwork.

The median of this new road will be decorated with grass and palm trees.

The irrigation system will be automated through an electronic satellite programmer, connected to the local irrigation network.

The City Council has approved the works with a lead time of 8 months.

The Consistory will allocate 5.8 million euros.

This new road will be a major route north-south because it will become a second round this from Murcia and surrounding districts.

Be a transverse axis of the east, and the alternative to the N-301 to travel to Madrid-Cartagena-Alicante and El Palmar, avoiding Round West.
