The construction of 18 football fields with artificial grass and three dressing rooms in the districts of the municipality, together with good coordination with the bases of Club Real Murcia, the town become the 'capital of Football "by the hand of Zapatero has allocated to the upgrading of sports facilities for more than six million euros (€ 6,257,188.65).
The increased investment in rural districts
It says the mayor of the PSOE José Manuel Abellán, the biggest investment in sports facilities in districts was held in Murcia in recent years.

According Abellán, the improvement of these facilities, sports football schools in the districts of the municipality will have adequate infrastructure to develop their work.
