As part of this collaboration, 16 and March 17 will be held the "Symposium on chronic renal failure and renal transplantation in the Region of Murcia", focusing on this issue in the burnout syndrome.

This syndrome, also called the burning or chronic fatigue, affecting primarily to health professionals and relatives of patients on dialysis, will be the subject of an investigation conducted by both entities.

The agreement, signed today in the convalescence, home of the Chancellor, also includes activities to promote organ donation and organ and conducting training courses about various aspects of renal disease.

The promoter of the agreement, Professor of Psychology Conrado Navalon, stressed that collaboration between the University and the Association will be "beneficial" to society and will improve the quality of life of patients.

Francisco Ignacio Ramos, president of ADAER, said members of the Association can provide, above all, the experience of chronic ill health professionals.

The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, closed the ceremony by mentioning the importance of formalizing a partnership that began seven years ago.
