An exhibition at the University of Murcia us about the films of Paco Rabal (10/03/2009)

The faculty of the School of Law will be the place to be located a photo exhibition about the main films of our countryman Paco Rabal.

The exhibition is organized by the Vice President for University Extension, University of Murcia and the Association "Milana pretty.

Paco Rabal in the memory "of Eagles, birthplace of the actor, and will be opened on Thursday March 12 at 12 am by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension Francisco Guillermo Diaz.

To its coordinator, Miguel Angel Blaya, "This exhibition gives a fairly accurate idea of the explanatory power of Paco Rabal and quantity of films which has given us fans to cinema during a lifetime of dedication to the interpretation ".

The exhibition, entitled "Paco Rabal, frame by frame" is a collection of images that try to approach the work of the actor through a selection of stills from his most representative films.

This is a wide selection including many key moments of the 230 films that comprise his filmography, and which allow a unique survey of the work of this great actor Murcia I work with the most renowned European directors, sharing the bill with actors and actresses most popular.

Those who approach the sample will have the opportunity to see from his first films in the early 50, to his later works, like 'Goya in Bordeaux' or 'Divertimento', produced in 2000.

But also included in the exhibition many jobs to carry out such directors as Rafael Gil, Saenz de Heredia, Rovira Beleta, Bardem, Saura, Mario Camus, Almodovar and others like Gillo Pontecorvo, Michelangelo Antonioni, Damiano Damiani, Chabrol, Bolognini, Rivette, Glauber Rocha, Visconti, and of course, Bunuel.
