A total of ten students from various institutes in the Region have received awards from the Mathematical Olympiad during a ceremony held at the Faculty of Mathematics, Campus de Espinardo, which was chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho.
The first prize went to Miguel Martinez Cacho, of the Institute "Juan Carlos I" and Angel Pina Canelas, the "Saavedra Fajardo", while the second was for Javier Hernández Fifth, the "Licenciado Francisco Cascales, and Jesus Ocariz Gallego, of "Isaac Peral.
Joan Lluis Archs Toledo, the "Juan Carlos I", and Córdoba Javier Torres, the "Licenciado Francisco Cascales" received the third prize.
There were also many other runners-up for Mariano Agudo White, the school "St. George", José Manuel Caballero Caballero, the institute "Juan Carlos I" Francisco José Sáez Pérez, "Francisco Salzillo" and José Antonio Torres Sánchez, of "Jimenez the Sword. "
Cobacho congratulated these students and their teachers and school leaders and encouraged them to continue the brilliant career started.
