The Department of Social Welfare supports the development of cultural activities for the elderly, and services necessary to accomplish them.

So, this morning, the Board of Governors approved the contract specifications for transportation services and tourist guides for the development of cultural trips through the region of Murcia and other cultural destinations outside the region, aimed at Social Centres the largest in the municipality of Murcia, which adds an amount of 148,559 euros.

The beneficiaries of the activities organized by the Centres for the Elderly can thus participate in the programs developed in the centers and planned outputs are organized to expand the training and promoting a healthy leisure life among the elderly.
