There will be an interesting collection of wines from Murcia, in addition to the tasting will be accompanied by a cheese tasting
The Department of Education and Staff of the City of Murcia proposed for 21 and 22 February, the seminar "The Region of Murcia, a land of wines: introduction to wine tasting."
This activity is part of the schedule of workshops and seminars in Majal Blanco Nature, and facilitate the approach of the participants to the culture of wine.
The theoretical and practical content will be developed in the Hall of Nature of Majal Blanco, and get you started on the secrets of wine tasting and appreciation of the hands of a specialist in the field.
To do this there will be an interesting collection of wines from the region of Murcia for tasting, accompanied with a tasting of cheeses, with the cooperation of Regulatory Boards of Denomination of Origin of both products.
On Sunday, the seminar will be supplemented by a route through the wine lands, which this time will include a guided tour of the exhibitions and the restored warehouses Bullas Wine Museum, and the vineyards of the area, in order to know situ the entire process of winemaking, from growing the raw materials (grape varieties, cultural practices, etc..) and their transformation into wine, to the socio-economic, technological and environmental direct and indirect associated with this important activity the Region of Murcia.
This experience will reveal the cultural tourist and Bullas articulated via the wine route.
Given the increasing interest in this seminar, and the high demand for places, the Department will assess the inclusion of new seminars on wine culture in the fall schedule, so that you can enjoy visiting other wine regions of the Region .
