The Socialist Party of the Region of Murcia (`PSRM-PSOE) will hold tomorrow a workshop on" Policy Research and the new growth model, which meet at the Hotel Conde de Floridablanca in Murcia, a number of university researchers in the Region as well as specialists from research centers linked to both the central administration to regional.
The meeting attended by Secretary of State for Research, Carlos Martínez Alonso, who between May 2004 and April 2008 was president of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and Secretary of Innovation and New Technology of the Federal Executive Committee PSOE, María González Veracruz, and the secretary general of PSRM-PSOE, Pedro Saura.
This conference organized by the Socialist Party of the Region of Murcia is intended as a forum for discussion, debate and proposals which provide alternatives in the field of research related to a new growth model for the Region of Murcia, as has been betting in recent months, the secretary general of the Socialist Murcia, Pedro Saura.
Indeed, last January held a workshop on the new economy in which more than two dozen university professors, businessmen, trade unionists and representatives of associations of social economy.

The Group consists of experts from the field of research, management of R + D + i, knowledge transfer and innovation.
They include experts who have had or have responsibilities in science and technology policy, both in the General State Administration in the Autonomous Communities.
