The University of Murcia has made fifty positions in Web Ranking of World Universities, published by the Cybermetrics Lab Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).

This progress has occurred in going from position 362, which occupied in the previous edition, the 312, which is located in the 2009 edition.

Among the Spanish universities of Murcia figure ahead of Zaragoza, Islas Baleares, Carlos III of Madrid, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, Navarra, Oviedo and the Autonomous University of Madrid, among others.

The study looks only universities and research center with a separate web domain and discusses, among other indicators, the web impact factor.
