The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana participated today in a human chain organized by the NGO Manos Unidas and starring children from different schools of Murcia to protest against child poverty in the world.
Bascuñana, who was accompanied by Director General of Family and Children, Laura Muñoz, stressed the importance of the smaller ones are made aware of the situation affecting thousands of children around the world.
"It's important that everyone, young and old, be aware that many people in the world who are hungry and need, and many of them are just children.

More than 1,000 children attending the event in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga Murcia city formed a chain of solidarity around the Cathedral to show support to all disadvantaged children.
