The councilman of Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, today presented the award 'Mursiya Mezze' the best restaurant in 2008, awarded by the Society Murcia Gourmet Gourmet Club and went to the Silk Mansion, which has obtained a 8.52 score.
The ceremony will be held tonight, at 21.30 hours, during a tasting menu offered by the restaurant.
The score by winning restaurant reflects the view that each club members expressed after taste in the month of June, the restoration of Francisco Fuentes.
Within each of the categories assessed, the members noted in their scores the careful preparation of dishes, tableware, the food presentation and the explanations given by the head chef during the tasting.
Secondly, after the Mansion Restaurant Silk Restaurant include Churra and Hispanic New Tradition Restaurant, with 7.91 and 7.48 respectively.
Behind them stand on a high note also restaurants Santa Ana (7.30), Temporary (6.74) and BBQ - El Valle Golf (6.62).
Annual Award 'Mursiya Mezze' Restaurant of the Year at the Region of Murcia, named after the Arabic name of Murcia and one of the most characteristic elements of the origins of Mediterranean cuisine, the Mezze: with this name referred to by the Phoenicians to the deployment of small dishes placed before the guests, who were surprised by the combination of colors, flavors, textures and aromas.
