The University of Murcia is one of the institutions participating in the collection entitled "Traces of the same world" that arises from the activity promoted by a team of Spanish and Mexican researchers and included historians, anthropologists, political scientists and other specialists.
This group has performed, among other works, a database of about five thousand Indian villages, with its history, evolution and other administrative data of interest.
The first volume of this collection is co-edited by the Editor of the University of Murcia (EDITUM) Columnaria Network and the Institute of Mexico, has been presented at the latter's headquarters in Madrid.
The coordinator of the collection is professor of Modern History, Contemporary and Latin at the University of Murcia José Javier Ruiz Ibáñez, responsible at the same time Columnaria Network.
