The series 'The violin in the Mubam' offers four Murcia composers inspired by the museum's paintings (26/01/2009)

The Director of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage, Enrique Ujaldón, this morning presented the series 'The violin in the Mubam' to be held from tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27 and until March 31 at the Museum of Fine Arts Murcia.

The cycle is performed for the first time this year, "combines the best European tradition with authors Murcia compositions created exclusively for these concerts," said Ujaldón.

The four concerts that make up the cycle are included in the programming of music that takes place from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In the presentation accompanied the coordinator general director, Enrique González Semitiel and composers Salvador M.

Garcia, Javier Artaza and Antonio Rodríguez, plus violinist Margherita Marseglia.

The composers chosen by the performers of 'The violin in the Mubam' have selected a piece of the museum which have been inspired for his works written for violin and piano.

Thus, for tomorrow, Tuesday, Salvador M.

Garcia has made 'The Four Seasons' inspired by the painting of the same title Obdulio Miralles.

For the February 17 Javier Artaza done 'Rhapsody for violin and piano' part of the Antonio Gil Montejano box 'collection' of Antonio Gil.

March 17 will be the turn of Miguel Franco who composed "Three romantic paintings op.

Finally, to March 31 Antonio Rodriguez has made "Idyll huertano 'inspired by the painting of the same name by José María Alarcón Prisons.

The concert program is completed by a repertoire of classical composers with works by Beethoven, Brahms, Bach and Mozart, among others.

According Ujaldón, "these four concerts, produced exclusively for the cycle, will meet soon in a release by the label Tres Fronteras."

All concerts take place at 20:00 pm and admission is free until all seats.
