Members of the Council of Students of the University of Murcia soon hold a meeting in Madrid with the Secretary of State for Universities, Mario Rubiralta, as agreed yesterday during a visit to Murcia from it.

The Officers of the Council held a meeting yesterday with Rubiralta to overtake the statement on the Bologna process recently agreed by the student representative body.

Students will set out their main concerns about the convergence process, namely the need for increased funding, improved scholarship policy and a moratorium on the entry into force to replace the existing Master Teacher Training Course.

Students invited the Secretary of State to participate in the second edition of the Conference of Information and Debate on the Implementation of the European Higher Education Area.

The meeting was attended, among others, the Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho.
